Pop Art – Eddy Merckx Triptych
Pop-Art by John MettepenningenThis Limited-Edition series of three Eddy Merckx artworks has been created by Belgian artist John Mettepenningen in collaboration with the Flandrien Art Gallery.
Édouard Louis Joseph Baron Merckx, better known as Eddy Merckx, is a Belgian former professional road and track bicycle racer who is the most successful rider in the history of competitive cycling. Nicknamed “The Cannibal” for his insatiability for winning, his victories include an unequalled eleven Grand Tours, all five Monuments, three World Championships, and every major one-day race other than Paris-Tours, and extensive victories on the track.
The artworks can be mounted on gallery quality plexiglass or stretch framed canvas.
The series is limited to a production run of 25 with each collection of three images including a numbered Flandrien Gallery Certificate of Authenticity which has been signed by the artist.
